A shrine for Tycho, my beloved waifu

This is a shrine dedicated to the fictional character I call my waifu. What you're seeing is a result of some grand infatuation I've had with Tycho for a while. I would die for this crazy webcomic man.

"Who?"

Tycho Brahe! Y'know... the second main character of the hit 1998 webcomic Penny Arcade...? No...? Too niche...? Well whatever, he's from that. Look it up, I don't have a shrine for it yet! Well he's pretty much an insane, excentric writer who lives with his bestfriend, Gabe, despite both of them being in seperate marriages (HMMMMMMM SOUNDS PRETTY QUEER TO ME!). He's done some shit that can be classified as weird or illegal... but y'know we can just ignore that part of his character (DO NOT LOOK HIM UP ON ANY WIKI EVER!). He's most well known for being the fourth Poker Night at The Inventory guy who's there for no reason but good lord the voice actor they picked for him in that game whoo boy if that doesn't make you gay then I don't know what will.

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness

Besides being in the first Poker Night game, Tycho is also the unoffical protagonist of the On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness games, since the entire story is revolves around him and the freaky stuff that's going on with his family tree. Here's the story summed up nice 'n sweet: It's 1922 and Tycho Brahe is running an unsuccessful detective agency with Johnathan "Gabe" Gabriel. In each game you kill one god at the very end. Throught said games you watch as Tycho slowly starts ignoring literally everything but killing the gods, his one purpose in life becomes to kill the gods. The end goal of this is to destabilise the universe so much that it essencially resets and is rebuilt in the image of his niece, Anne-Claire (whom he traps in a crystal on the edge of the universe). This Tycho, unlike comic Tycho, has a degree in Apocalyptics and knows so very much about the supernatural, it's literally all he does. Tycho's family, the Brahe clan, have a history of madness, literally, all of his ancestors were committed. Naturally, that got passed down onto him, hence the whole "killing the 4 gods" thing. In episode 4 there's and entire castle of them and they are in fact batshit insane, especially his dad. They each had failed at completing the Long Project and are therefore trapped in Underhell for all eternity, fighting meaningless battles with the local inhabitants and torturing eachother. Eventually I plan on dedicating an entire page (maybe a shrine) to explaining the lore of those games and specifically Tycho's side of things as Gabe's is pretty much pushed to the side despite him being the character the player controls in episodes 3 and 4, but I'm rambling too much.

Poker Night at The Inventory

Tycho is most well-known for being "that weird guy" from Telltale's Poker Night at The Inventory. He has quite an infamous reputation amongst non-arcadian Poker Night fans, because of the shit he says. Play the game for an hour and tell me how you fell. Uncomfortable? Exactly. He says some weird fucking shit. The hedgehog thing, the giraffe neck thing, any interaction between him and Max (I don't blame him though, Max is a conventionally attractive lagomorph). Every word out of that mans mouth is pure cringe, but I love him. He scares me and makes me cringe but by god do I love him for it. And BOY OH BOY HIS VOICE MY GOD. Do not get me started on the voice actor they chose for him. If I wasn't meant to feel things I don't want to unpack then why did they give him such an objectively hot voice?

"Why Tycho of all characters?"

Well I myself don't know the answer. There's a certain appeal about to a guy who acts a little bit too much like me sometimes. Maybe it's just me being a gay weirdo and getting attached to a random webcomic character for no good reason. I've read most of the comics and played the games, I'm fully aware of all the questionable things the writers have made him do, but at the end of the day he's fictional and the bad shit he's done isn't real so you can't judge me for having a big fat crush on a morally questionable man! So in conclusion...
